The High level of service and workmanship provided by Action Floors, have been exceptional and it is evident in the quality of our well-constructed floor.

Action Floors installed a traditional sprung wooden floor (4 courts) and a Herculan synthetic surface (4 courts) at Selwyn Sports Centre, opened in May 2021. Both surfaces have performed extremely well in our multiuse facility, across traditional sports, emerging sports, and both small and large scale events. With regular cleaning and maintenance we're prolonging the life of the flooring and getting the most out of each surface. Action Floors' after-sales service has been excellent — no matter the query, Chris always answers his phone and emails and provides the advice and support we need.

When our court floor was originally installed in 2017, the initial contractor failed to prepare the surface properly and used improper products. This resulted in severe delamination, rendering the floor a significant safety hazard. In 2019, Action Floors conducted a comprehensive safety assessment and recommended a complete resand down to bare timber, including the full removal of all existing line markings. Although this was a major undertaking, it was essential to bring our facility up to safety specifications.

Entrusting this critical project to Action Floors proved to be an excellent decision. They delivered an outstanding, high-quality floor that has reliably served nearly a million sports and recreation participants over the last five years. Working with Chris and Bruce for ongoing maintenance, repairs, and deep cleaning has been a seamless experience. They are consistently responsive, professional, and efficient, giving us complete confidence in their work.

The work completed on the old gym floor is a huge improvement and makes the gym itself look much lighter and brighter, as well as delivering a floor that is vastly improved and safe for our users.
